Snagov Forest Interiors | The Warm Minimalism
Snagov, Ilfov
Ongoing
The project involves the interior design of three luxury residences located in the Snagov area, outlining a clear aesthetic language governed by the concept of "warm minimalism". The design takes full advantage of the generous glazed openings, which dissolve the boundaries between the interior and the exterior, allowing the natural landscape and light to become an essential part of the homes' atmosphere.
The foundation of the design is defined by honest and durable materials. The natural stone flooring provides a refined background and impeccable visual continuity. In the living area, the fireplace stands out as the heart of the day space, an element of attraction that anchors the room and brings extra warmth. To offer depth to the space without overloading it, accent wallpaper inserts have been integrated on certain walls, thus generating a subtle dynamic and a distinct character for each area.
The same strong connection with the exterior is found in the night area, where the bedrooms benefit, just like the living room, from large glazed walls that bring nature indoors. The bathrooms have been treated with special care, being conceived as relaxation sanctuaries. For these, ceramic surfaces that perfectly imitate natural stone both visually and tactilely were chosen, complemented by concealed faucets with a minimalist design, and large mirrors that strongly amplify the spatiality of the rooms.
The furniture was selected with special attention, respecting the scale and harmonious proportions of each room. The chromatic palette is designed to induce a state of calm and balance, relying on fine shades of beige and gray tones. These delicate contrasts support the minimalist aesthetic while simultaneously managing to create human, welcoming, and deeply relaxing interiors.
