Project P | Office Building

Bucharest, Unirii area

Completed, 2011

Located in the Unirii area of Bucharest, the Project P office building hides a deeply personal story. The project was taken over at a deadlock moment, when the client was looking for a superior aesthetic direction for the facades, which he had not found in the initial concept. The new proposal immediately resonated with his vision, marking the beginning of a collaboration built on trust.

Built with a height regime of SB+GF+7 recessed (semi-basement + ground floor + 7 recessed floors), the building has a total area of 1200 sqm. Although it features a small footprint, the volumetry compensates through a particularly elegant and balanced architectural presence. The exterior aesthetic relies on a subtle contrast of volumes and colors, materialized through ventilated facades clad with ceramics in refined shades of beige and gray.

The ample glazed surfaces, supported by aluminum joinery, open the interior spaces towards the urban landscape, while an elegant glass canopy discreetly marks the access area. After nightfall, the harmony of the volumetry is highlighted by professional architectural lighting, provided by Zumtobel systems.

Completed in 2011, the building transcends its simple function as an office space. It represents the legacy that the client – diagnosed with an incurable disease and who passed away the same year – wanted to leave behind. The result is a well-grounded, deeply harmonious project, a silent testament to quality and sensitivity in the act of building.
